pixiv Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") will be holding the FANBOX PRINT Authorized Fanwork: Touhou Project (hereinafter referred to as "this Project”) through FANBOX PRINT (hereinafter referred to as “this Service”). In accordance with Article 6 of the FANBOX PRINT Terms of Use for Content Providers (hereinafter referred to as "Terms of Use for Content Providers"), the Company has established these FANBOX PRINT Authorized Fanwork: Touhou Project Content Guidelines (hereinafter referred to as “these Guidelines”).

These Guidelines are separate from the general FANBOX PRINT Content Guidelines and apply exclusively to content submitted for this Project.

Unless otherwise specified, the definitions of terms used in these Guidelines follow those outlined in the Terms of Use for Content Providers.

These Guidelines have been established as specific standards for content review under this Project, in accordance with Article 6 of the Terms of Use for Content Providers. These Guidelines have been independently determined by the Company, and may be changed at any time at our discretion if there is a valid reason, such as to cater to the needs of the users of this service, social issues, changes in our business, or changes to the operating policy of this Service.

Please note that any matters not stipulated in these Guidelines shall be governed using the Terms of Use for Content Providers.

Participation in this Project

Project Theme

Illustrations and manga works based on Touhou Project.
*Submissions do not need to be newly created. Past works are also eligible for this Project.

How to Participate

Starting February 12th, 2026, creators will be able to opt into the Authorized Fanwork: Touhou Project when registering content for FANBOX PRINT.

1. Register as a FANBOX Creator
2. Register as a FANBOX PRINT Content Provider
3. When registering content, choose to participate in the Authorized Fanwork: Touhou Project
4. Once the content passes review, it will go on sale starting from your desired launch date

Royalties

The royalty rates for content providers participating in the "FANBOX PRINT Authorized Fanwork: Touhou Project" are as follows:

• Sales in Japan: 25%
• Sales in Taiwan: 15%

Content Registration and Review for this Service

The Company will review all content according to these Guidelines.

Creators will be able to register only the content that the Company has reviewed and deemed appropriate for sale. Content that is deemed as "Prohibited Content", as described below, may not be submitted to this Project. Please read these guidelines before submitting your content. Please also note that the Company will not answer any inquiries regarding review results.

Prohibited Content

Content that falls under any of the following points cannot be submitted to this Project. Please note that the points listed below are provided as examples of prohibited content and are not exhaustive.

1. Content classified as prohibited under the FANBOX PRINT Content Guidelines

Content that is designated as prohibited under the FANBOX PRINT Content Guidelines cannot be registered.

However, among the examples listed under "2. Content that falls under any of the following, (9) Content that infringes or is likely to infringe on the copyrights, patent rights, utility model rights, design rights, trademark rights, or other intellectual property rights of a third party", fan art may be submitted only if all of the following conditions are met:

• The work is fan art based on the characters, costumes, and world of the Touhou Project original games managed by ZUN.
• The content is registered on this Service specifically for participation in this Project.
• The work does not fall under any of the categories listed in Section 2 of these Guidelines (see below).

Please note that content listed as prohibited in the FANBOX PRINT Content Guidelines (outside of fan art), is not permitted: "Content that uses company names, brand names, product names, or people's names", "Content created by a third party".

2. Content that falls under any of the following

1. Content that damages the image of the Touhou Project
   Examples:
   • Gender swaps
   • Zombified or grotesque versions of characters
   • Animal-like versions of characters
   • Child-like versions of characters
2. Content that infringes or may infringe upon the rights of others
3. Content that may cause others to believe it is official Touhou Project content
4. Unauthorized reuse of another person's fan art
5. Any other content deemed socially unacceptable, such as excessive sexual expression, or content that slanders individuals, groups, or races
6. Content that may defame ZUN, other parties involved with Touhou Project, or any related third party
7. Works that do not feature Touhou Project characters as the central focus
8. Works composed only of text (e.g., novels) where images are not the main component
9. Photographic works or works that are primarily based on real-world photography
10. Tracings, copies, or highly accurate reproductions of official Touhou Project illustrations or licensed goods
11. Works featuring characters not featured in official Touhou Project works or characters originating from fan communities
    Examples:
    • Yukkuri Reimu
    • Yukkuri Marisa
    • Original OCs made to enter the Touhou universe, etc.
12. Any other content deemed inappropriate by pixiv Inc., Sharp Marketing Japan Corporation, or participating convenience store businesses
