FANBOX PRINT Creator Fest: Bugcat Capoo Content Guidelines

pixiv Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") will be holding the FANBOX PRINT Creator Fest: Bugcat Capoo (hereinafter referred to as "this Project") through FANBOX PRINT (hereinafter referred to as "this Service"). In accordance with Article 6 of the FANBOX PRINT Terms of Use for Content Providers (hereinafter referred to as "Terms of Use for Content Providers"), the Company has established this Project’s Content Guidelines (hereinafter referred to as "these Guidelines").

These Guidelines are separate from the general FANBOX PRINT Content Guidelines and apply exclusively to content submitted for this Project.

Unless otherwise specified, the definitions of terms used in these Guidelines follow those outlined in the Terms of Use for Content Providers.

These Guidelines have been established as specific standards for content review under this Project, in accordance with Article 6 of the Terms of Use for Content Providers. These Guidelines have been independently determined by the Company, and may be changed at any time at our discretion if there is a valid reason, such as to cater to the needs of the users of this service, social issues, changes in the Company’s business, or changes to the operating policy of this Service.

Please note that any matters not stipulated in these Guidelines shall be governed by the Terms of Use for Content Providers.

Participation in this Project

Project Theme

Fan art illustrations and manga works featuring characters from Bugcat Capoo (hereinafter referred to as the "Eligible Characters"), a work whose rights are managed by Bugcat Capoo Co., Ltd.

• Submissions do not need to be newly created. Past works are also eligible for this Project.

How to Participate

Content registration period: Thursday, October 1st - Thursday, November 12th, 2026

Product sales period: Thursday, October 15th - Thursday, November 26th, 2026

Starting October 1st, 2026, creators can opt into the Creator Fest: Bugcat Capoo when registering content for FANBOX PRINT.

1. Register as a FANBOX Creator
2. Register as a FANBOX PRINT Content Provider
3. When registering content, choose to participate in this Project
4. Once the content passes review, it will go on sale starting from the designated launch date

Royalties

The royalty rates for content providers participating in this Project are as follows:

• Japan Sales: 20%
• Taiwan Sales: 15%

Content Registration and Review for this Service

The Company will review all content according to these Guidelines.

Creators will be able to register only the content that the Company has reviewed and deemed appropriate for sale. Content that is deemed "Prohibited Content", as described below, may not be submitted to this Project. Carefully read these guidelines before submitting your content. Also note that the Company will not answer any inquiries regarding review results.

The Company will conduct content review for this Project on behalf of Bugcat Capoo Co., Ltd. If you have any questions regarding content registration, contact us through the FANBOX PRINT inquiry form.

Participation in this Project is limited to individual creators. Corporations, organizations, and doujin circles without legal personality are not eligible to participate.

Prohibited Content

Content that falls under any of the following categories cannot be submitted to this Project. Note that the categories listed below are provided as examples of prohibited content and are not exhaustive.

1. Content classified as prohibited under the FANBOX PRINT Content Guidelines

Content that is designated as prohibited under the FANBOX PRINT Content Guidelines cannot be registered.

However, among the examples listed under "2. Content that falls under any of the following, (9) Content that infringes or is likely to infringe on the copyrights, patent rights, utility model rights, design rights, trademark rights, or other intellectual property rights of a third party", fan art may be submitted only if all of the following conditions are met:

• The work is a fan art illustration or manga based on the Eligible Characters.
• The content is registered on this Service specifically for participation in this Project.
• The work does not fall under any of the categories listed in Section 2 of these Guidelines (see below).

Note that content listed as prohibited in the FANBOX PRINT Content Guidelines (outside of fan art) is not permitted: "Content that uses company names, brand names, product names, or people's names", "Content created by a third party".

2. Content that falls under any of the following

1. Content that clearly contradicts the official settings of Bugcat Capoo, the characters' personalities, or the world of the series
   • Examples:
     1. Depictions that clearly contradict established personalities, preferences, or behavior, such as portraying Capoo, who dislikes vegetables, as a character who loves them
     2. Depictions of characters who are not officially established as being romantically involved as having romantic feelings for each other or being in a romantic relationship (e.g., depicting Capoo and Lala as having romantic feelings for each other)
     3. Depictions that assign a specific gender to a character whose gender has not been officially established, or add physical characteristics that clearly indicate a specific gender
     4. Any other depictions that clearly alter the official settings or established characterization of the Eligible Characters
     5. Note that visual alterations such as depicting characters as animals or children are not prohibited from registration solely on that basis. Such works will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, taking into account factors such as how the actual content affects the characters' established settings or the Bugcat Capoo brand image.
2. Works that use images generated by AI, either in whole or in part
3. Content that infringes or may infringe upon the rights of others
4. Content that may cause others to believe it is official content, an official product, or an official project of Bugcat Capoo Co., Ltd. or its affiliated companies
5. Unauthorized reuse of another person's fan art
6. Content prohibited under the FANBOX PRINT Content Guidelines (e.g., content deemed socially unacceptable, such as excessive sexual expression or content that slanders individuals, groups, or races)
7. Content that may defame Bugcat Capoo Co., Ltd., parties involved with Bugcat Capoo, or any other third party
8. Works that do not feature characters from Bugcat Capoo as the central focus
9. Works composed only of text (e.g., novels) where images are not the main component
10. Photographic works or works that are primarily based on real-world photography
11. Tracings, copies, or highly accurate reproductions of official illustrations or existing licensed goods
12. Works that use the Eligible Characters or their names for the purpose of political activities, religious proselytizing, ethnic discrimination, or criticism of specific individuals or groups
13. Any other content deemed inappropriate by pixiv Inc., Sharp Marketing Japan Corporation, Q-WARE Systems & Services Corp., or participating convenience store businesses
